Formula First in SCCA Calclub

Hi:

Good to see you folks are running formula firsts. We are not too far away that we can’t get together for a race or two. We have two formula firsts running with SCCA Calclub both of them being purpose built Formula First “Evolution” cars we bought through SR Racing. We also run with VARA as an exhibition class from time to time. VARA has a race in Las Vegas later in the year that might be easier to tow to for all concerned. We could make this an annual event. Any interest?

I would like to post a pic of my car but do not know how. Can you help?

Hi Lou, thanks for your post, we appreciate your participation! I look forward to your pictures. to upload a photo, first go to “site admin” at the bottom right corner of the site (under site tools), the select “write” and a post dialog will open, give your post a tiltle, then create your post, use the “add media” to insert pictures or videos, pictures should be no more than 400x 400 pixels, use photoshop or like program to resize if ness. Videos should be posted on you tube, then just post the link to the video, but make sure you insert the “v” designator in the link after the HTTP, ie: httpv:www.youtube.com\closecall\etc. or just email me the link and can insert it into your post for you.

Hi Lou…….

Good to hear from CA……. I talked to JR at Roxannes about your car when he was designing the headers for my car. My headers are nearly done and I expect them next week.

A few Questions:

What Spec Tire do you use in your series?

When is the VARA race in Las Vegas?

Do you race with VARA at California Motor Speedway?

I would like to coordinate a few races that connect the Southwest with the West Coast……..
